This collection is a loving tribute to my mother, Sylvia Butler — a woman of grace, strength, and timeless elegance.

Through Sylvia’s Pretty Things, I honor her life and share a bit of her light with the world, one accessory at a time. She taught me that true beauty begins within, and that presenting yourself with care on the outside is a form of self-preservation and confidence. She was, and continues to be, my greatest inspiration — showing me how to walk in faith, embrace style, and live with purpose. This line celebrates her legacy and the radiant beauty she carried both inside and out.

Our concept, "Rooted in Faith, Wrapped in Style," merge modest sophistication into personal styling experiences. We currently operate by God's grace through in store and online sales, pop-up events, and community collaborations.

Rooted in Christian values, we believe true beauty begins with grace, gratitude, and through the love of God. Each piece is chosen to uplift, inspire, and help women express their eternal light in Christ through fashion that feels both powerful and refined.

Finally, the House of Cookie Couture is more than fashion; we are a community hub dedicated to building connections, partnering with local organizations, uplifting our community, and inspiring fellow small businesses.

Empowering Women Through Fashion

Joyce Grice- founder and owner of House of Cookie Couture, a faith-inspired boutique dedicated to helping women express confidence and grace through style.

I'm a proud Army veteran, a devoted wife to my husband, Pastor Jesse L. Grice, and a loving mother of four wonderful children — I find my greatest joy in my family and my faith.

I am the youngest of nine siblings from the Midwest. I serve my community as a Christian leader, and a Texas realtor. I'm truly Blessed with two beautiful grandchildren. I am humbled as God continues to guide and strengthen me in my walk & purpose — blending elegance, service, and faith in my life daily.
